Megan finished 15th out of 399 runners. Evan finished tied for 16th out of
398 runners. Both had performances earned National Elite (86) status. This status meets the "national silver standard".

The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams finished their seasons this weekend at Regionals. The Boys finished 11th out of 16 and the Girls finished 6th overall.
Leading the Boys was Evan Niciphor (Nisifour) who finished 3rd overall and leading the Girls was Megan Moye who finished 4th overall. Both were named to the All Central Region team and both will advance to the State Championships next Saturday.
Good season Running Titans.
10.30 - At the Dominion District Cross Country Championships yesterday, the Girls finished as District Runner Ups and the Boys finished in 3rd place. Both teams qualified for the Central Region Championships next Saturday.
Evan Niciphor was the Boys Dominion District Runner Up and Megan Moye was the Girls Dominion District Runner up
Four girls Earned All Dominion District Team honors:Megan Moye, Lindsey Bloom, Amanda Steinman and Tessa Broadwater
Two boys earned All Dominion District Team honors: Evan Niciphor and Mike Todd

10.22 - Girls: James River 27, Cosby 29; Cosby 15, L.C. Bird 50
Boys: James River 29, Cosby 46; Cosby 23, L.C. Bird 33
The Boys Cross country team beat Bird and dropped to James River yesterday in Dominion district play. Leading the Titans were Evan Niciphor, who set a new school Tri-meet record in 16:12, followed by Brady Garrison, Jordan Willett, Nick Fox and Manny Singh
The Girls Cross Country team beat Bird and dropped to James River as well. The Girls were led by Megan Moye who won the race outright, Amanda Steinman, Kelly Innis, Brittnie Ridgway, Courtney Ogorchock and Caitlin Sepelyak.
The running Titans will take on the rest of the Dominion District at the Cross Country Championships next Thursday.

The Girls Cross Country Team defeated both Monacan and Manchester yesterday. Leading the Titans were Rebecca Sweeney, Lindsey Blum and Tessa Broadwater. In Boys Cross Country action, the Boys defeated Monacan but lost to Manchester. Leading the Boys were Evan Niciphor, Mike Todd and Taylor Garnowski

09.04 - Both the Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams travelled to Salem Virginia to run in the Knights Crossing Invitational. The girls finished 4th out of 30 teams in the top division. Megan Moye paced the Titans by finishing 3rd overall. The boys finished 6th while Evan Niciphor finished 7th overall. Nice run to start the season.

June 3rd - 2:00 - Cosby gym, $25 payable to: Cosby High School (must have a signed VHSL physical form in order to have one taken*
Get a physical from your family doctor before the first practice. Make sure that it is on a VHSL physical form*
* VHSL physical forms can be downloaded from the Cosby Website - go to Athletics and click on VHSL physical form. If not you can get one at the meeting or in the front office at any time.
Date of First Practice - Monday, August 10 - 7:30 am. Meet at the bus loop near the gym. ** must bring completed physical in order to practice. Also, Bring Running Log
