The Lady Titans won the Dominion District Tournament Championship this evening when they defeated the Lady Trojans from Midlothian.
05.20 - Cosby 2, Monacan 1 - Dominion District Semis
Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team in the Dominion District Semi-final game against Monacan last night.
Scoring for the Lady Titans were Katie Minczuk, with an assist from Morgan Carr. The winning goal was scored by Courtney Hook, with an assist from Sara Sharp. Senior Goalie Cameron Bloom had 8 saves during the first half and Freshman keeper Nikki Pond had 7 during the 2nd. The ENTIRE TEAM had a great evening of play and all 1st and 2nd team, as well as Honorable Mention Players are all to be congratulated. The Lady Titans play in the championship game at 5:30 tomorrow at Clover Hill, while the boys play at 7:30. Come out and support your Titan Soccer Teams.

Scoring for the Lady Titans were Joy Grove, Sara Sharp and Courtney Hook with assists from Becca Wann, Kim Accashian and Delaney Metzger. Senior Goalie, Cameron Bloom had 9 saves for the evening. The girls JV soccer team defeated the Monacan chiefs 6-0 last night. Goals were scored by Lexi Davis, Claire Walker, Lauren Crow, April Peterson, Laura Garman, and Emma Rich. Great game girls!

04.22 - Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Soccer Team on their win last night against Clover Hill. Scoring in the 2nd half to tie the game - with very little time left on the clock was Becca Wann. Scoring in the 2nd overtime was Lindsay Carns to win the game 2-1. Cosby senior goalie Cameron Bloom and freshman Nikki Pond has 9 saves for each half. The Lady Titans play host to Monacan tomorrow. Come out and support your JV and Varsity teams.
The Girls JV Soccer team defeated Clover Hill last night 4-0. Mary Angel had a Hat Trick, and Laura Garman had the teams 4th goal. Great game girls.

With no time left on the clock at the end of regulation play, Becca Wann was able to sneak a ball past Clover Hill's keeper and defenders. Scorelss at the end of the first overtime, Cosby junior forward Lindsay Carns went 1v1 against Clover Hill's goalie to give Cosby a 2-1 win against 3rd-seeded Clover Hill. Cosby remains in 2nd place behind 1st-place Midlothian in the Dominion District Standings.
