02.17 - Tournament Videos
11.05 - Congratulations to the Varsity cheerleaders who finished the competitive season with an amazing performance in the finals round – after sustaining two injuries. With only 18 cheerleaders reorganizing the routine, they brought the house down with a flawless routine. James River won the Regional tournament – but there is no doubt who the real champions were last night.
11.03 - Rapids top in the district
10.29 - Congratulations
Lady Titans finished second in the district tournament, 1/2 point out of the top spot.
Powhatan wins 1st annual Titan Chher Classic
The Powhatan High School Cheerleaders also participated in the 1st annual Titan Cheer Classic sponsored by Cosby High School on October 10, 2009. This event was held to “Cheer for a Cure” with part of the proceeds going to breast cancer awareness. The PHS Cheerleaders again were crowned first place in the A/AA Division outscoring both King George and Rappahannock High Schools.
10.24 - Lady Titans Finish First
Thank you, Titans, for coming out to support the Varsity Cheerleaders in their first step of competitions last night. They finished in first place, with James River and Manchester trailing behind, and the Cosby “C’s” filling the crowd are part of the reason they won! Next Wednesday is the finals round, same time, same place – Manchester. The Dominion District champion will be named, and we hope you’ll be there again in your “SEA of BLUE!”
