Mike Stefanko

Head Coach

Mr. Stefanko holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Randolph-Macon College. This is his 15th year of teaching.

Ed Metzger

Asst Coach

Ed has been an athletic trainer for several years.  This is his third year at Cosby High.  Ed is also an assistant wrestling coach at Cosby.

Jim Alberston

Asst Coach

Mr. Alberston retired in June 2008 after (41) years teaching history (24 in CCPS).  He’s coaches wrestling in five decades, 1967-2009 seasons.  Coach Alberston coached at Sharon Hill HS  & Collingdale HS  in Pennsylvania; Matoaca & Monacan HS; Paulsboro HS in New Jersey (1981 State champs); Clover Hill for 7 years where he amassed a record of 99-18.  He also coached at the collegiate level at Rutgers University South Jersey.  During his career he has coached 22 district champs/8 regional champs/8 all state wrestlers.   He’s a former PIAA wrestling official.  He will be entering his first year as a volunteer coach in the Cosby wrestling program.
