2009 Dominion District & Central Region Player of the Year

Kevin Clarke: 16 year old Junior at Cosby High School.

Accomplishments: All Academic, All Dominion District as a freshman; All Academic, First Team All Dominion District and First Team All Central Region as a sophomore; All Academic, First Team All Dominion District, Dominion District Player of the Year; Central Region Player of the Year as a junior.  Academically, Kevin continues to maintain over a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while taking mostly Honors/AP classes. 

Personal:  Son of Todd and Brenda ...Brother Kyle, 10, a 5th grader at Woolridge elementary school.

About Kevin:  He would like to play Div 1 golf in college.

Most memorable Titan Golf moment:  Making it to States in 2008 (as a sophomore) & Regional Player of the Year (2009)

Proudest golfing accomplishment: Winning the Optimist Qualifier (70-74) to qualify for the Optimist International in West Palm Beach, FL

Family pet:  Chocolate Lab…..”Sydney”

Tell us something about yourself that no one may really know: I played in a golf tournament in Iceland

When did you play your first round of golf?  12 years old

Do you ever play PuttPutt?  no

If I won the lottery, the first thing I'd buy: A trip to play at St. Andrews

If I had a superpower it would be: Unbelievable strength……(then I could drive the ball longer)

What part of your game are you working on right now?  The mental part of golf

What did you think when you were named Regional player of the year?  Very excited!

What was the most nervous moment for you on the golf course?  On the first tee at Lakeside (Regionals this year)
