Top ranked Cosby pulled out to a 17-9 lead after one period and cruised to the Dominion District girls basketball win over George Wythe. Cosby led 33-13 at intermission.
Alysa Triplett led all scorers with 15 points and Chyna Lennox added 13 for Cosby. Shatasha Hardy led the Bulldogs with 12 and Shakiyla Jeffreys contributed 10 to be the only two players for George Wythe to score in double figures.
