Fundraiser
There will be a mandatory meeting of all those interested in playing football in the fall on Wednesday, May 23rd immediately after school in the auditorium. This will be a short but very important meeting, plan accordingly.
On Wednesday, May 23rd, the Cosby Athletic Boosters will hold a fundraiser at Firehouse Subs on Hull Street. Firehouse has agreed to donate a percentage of sales from 4pm-9pm, which benefit all athletic programs at Cosby High School. Please plan to have or pickup dinner at Firehouse Subs and support our athletes!

05.09 - Taylor Hall named 1st Team Catcher - America East All-Conference Team
Hall, a freshman catcher, is the fi rst Retriever to take home Rookie of the Year honors. She ranks third among America East leaders batting .367 and leads the league with 15 doubles. Hall added eight homers and is second in the conference with a .627 slugging percentage to go with 28 RBIs. She was also stellar behind the plate, committing just two errors in 252 chances while throwing out 14 potential base stealers.

It has been a busy week for Kelly and the Roanoke College Softball Team. On Sunday they won the ODAC Conference Championship which automatically qualifies them for the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament next weekend. Kelly was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

Cosby Sophomore Killian Carey broke the schools discus record at the Wolverine Invitational track meet in Stafford VA on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The old record of 136'-8", set in 2010, was broke during the preliminary round. Killian then broke his own record two more times during the finals on the way to a first place finish in the meet with a throw of 142'-5". With that throw, Killian is currently ranked 22nd in the state on the Milestat.com website.
